But I'm not going to talk about that just now: I want to talk about this post which is about FREE STORIES. Yes, that's right, I did say FREE STORIES!
I don't want money for them, although it would be nice. If you want to send me some money, then that would be good (e-mail me and we'll work it out!). That's not what this project is about - what it is about is getting people to read my material.
There are a couple of conditions to getting these free stories. Oh no, I hear you say! But no, you don't have to sell your soul to the devil (who is not me by the way!), sign up for some ridiculous scheme or even feel obliged to read more if you don't like the stories.
No, all I want from you is a little time. I want you to read the stories then forward them to some friends, family, colleagues, co-workers or anybody else you think might like them.
Why am I doing this? Well, it's simple: exposure.
I need to get products out there for people to read and one of the ways to do it is to drive interest in what I write. There are some exciting things I am working on but I need people to see what I do. Admittedly, there is not a huge amount of stuff out there which I have written but if you visit my site, there is material to read, including the 'Jimmy and the Black Wind' series of stories (READ THEM NOW BEFORE THE REBOOT - and no, that's not the secret project!), stories I've had published and the journal with some interesting posts including 'Infected Friday'.
Why should you read somebody you've never heard of? Again, that's simple: because what I write is good and, like everybody else, I'm looking to get my stuff read and commented on.
So, all I want from you is time and for you to read the stories and forward them, asking those people to do the same and so forth.
