Hey, all Followers of the Infected Legion, this is freaking cool! We're getting closer to the machines!
The poor cat lost its back feet after being run over by a combine harvester, Surgeons then grafted bone-like metal prostheses onto the back legs to enable the cat to walk pretty much normally.
The skin grows over the piece of metal and a flange to develop an "exoprosthesis" that allows the implant to work as a see-saw on the bottom of the cat's limbs to let the cat walk.
If the doctors and vets can do that with a cat, then we are getting closer to a real-life Terminator.
